Prescription Charges Increase from 1st May 2024

Prescription charges will increase from the 1st of May 2024 to £9.90p for each item dispensed. If you pay for your prescription and usually get more than two items every month, it will be worth getting a pre-payment certificate. From the 1st of May 2024 a 3-month certificate will cost £32.05p and a 12-month certificate will cost £114.50p (patients can spread the cost and pay in 10 monthly instalments).
