Patients With Particular Needs

There is wheelchair access to the surgery with a designated parking space outside the main entrance which is reserved for patients displaying a disabled sticker.

We can also arrange interpretation and translation services for patients who do not speak English.  Please let us know if you need this service when booking an appointment.

Reasonable Adjustments

Under the Equality Act 2010, we have a legal duty to make changes to the way we provide services, so they work well for everyone, including people with disabilities. These are called reasonable adjustments.

We want to make sure that all our patients can access healthcare services as easily and comfortably as possible.

These reasonable adjustments may include physical changes like ramps, wide doors, or signs you can feel. They could include you needing a carer to support you at appointments, having an assistance dog or needing a quieter place to wait for appointments. They can also mean changes to how we do things, such as how we communicate, how we train our staff, or how we run our services, so that people with different needs are properly supported.

If you have a disability or condition that has a substantial and long-term effect on your day-to-day life, you have the right to ask for reasonable adjustments to help you access healthcare.

We understand that your needs may change over time. We may occasionally check to make sure your information is still up to date, and you can let us know at any time if your needs change.

What You Can Do

Please take a few minutes to complete the below questionnaire. This will help us to determine what support and/or adjustments we can put in place to make your experience at the surgery as easy and comfortable as possible.

Thank you.
