Research Practice

We are an active research practice dedicated to clinical studies

Our research team is led by Dr. Gill and is supported by our Management and Nursing Teams.

We are participating in several high quality studies in partnership with the Clinical Research Network.

Studies vary from short term projects to longer term research following patients with various conditions but all aim to help with the development of treatment and improve patient care.

A list of our current research includes:

  • Bipolar Parenting – Assessing whether providing patients who experience bipolar disorder with on-line support leads to their children having fewer behavioural problems. We are currently recruiting patients for this study.
  • Relief – Assessing the effectiveness of certain inhaler treatments in patients with a clinical diagnosis of mild asthma and looking to reduce the number of asthma exacerbations. We are currently recruiting patients for this study.
  • Binge Eating Disorder and Bulimia Nervosa – Patients aged 16 and above with symptoms of Binge Eating and/or Bulimia. We are currently recruiting patients for this study. For more information, click here.
